Hallelujah! It does work, the file appworkshop_294100.acf will be located on the same path as there the game was originally installed. I unsubscribed to a mod, and it looks like Steam finally is downloading my subscriptions. Always a possibility!Įdit: After trying everything, I decided to try one more time and went to my workshop page *without* the game running. Unless of course this is a fluke, and it's really just my pc being weird.

It's not where it's supposed to be, which makes me think that Rimworld changed this file at some point to a different number? Have no idea, but now after doing several reinstalls, restarts, subscribing and unsubscribing to mods, and completely deleting everything having to do with Rimworld on my pc, steam simply won't download my mods.

The second half of these instructions is what fixed it HOWEVER I had to unsubscribe from all of my mods before I closed the client and renamed the ugc and mod folders.Originally posted by Unikitty27:This method doesn't seem to work anymore as of 2020, as I cannot find appworkshop_294100.acf like usual. Launch the Steam Client and see if you can download and use the Workshop mods %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\ If the issue continues, please do the following:Ĭ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\106445130\ Re-test the issue and see if you can download and use the Workshop mods Check-mark "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization for Europa Universalis IV" Right-click "Europa Universalis IV" > "Properties" > "Updates" Select "Cloud", then check-mark "Enable Steam Cloud synchronization", then press "OK" In the Steam Client, select "Steam" in the top-left, then "Settings" If you already have these enabled, un-check then check them again to fix any bugs. Here I will paste the instructions they gave me that fixed the issue: Thank you very much to Steam Support for helping me through this.
